The final stage of qualifying for the 2027 DP World Tour gets underway in Tarragona, Spain on Friday with a total of ten Australasians amongst the 150 chasing one of the 15 full playing rights in Europe next season.

The event is played over 108 holes at the INFINITUM Resort, with play alternating between the two courses there over the opening 72 holes before a cut to the leading 60, who will duke it out over the final 36 for one of the important Category 18 spots.

For those who make the 72-hole cut and finish below 15th place and ties but within the leading 40 players and ties, they will earn Category 9 status on the HotelPlanner Tour. Players who make the 72-hole cut but finish below 40th place and ties will earn Category 13 membership on the Hotel Planner Tour.

Players who fail to make the cut will be eligible for membership of the Hotel Planner Tour, equivalent to Category 15 from the 2026 season.

Players in the field are there either through an unsuccessful year on the DP World or Hotel Planner Tours or via the qualifying stages.
